Managing your dictation History

Your History allows you to look back at everything you've dictated on this device, grouped under Today, Yesterday, and each day before that.

🔎 Browsing Your History

Your dictations sit on the Home section of the VoicePilot dashboard, newest first. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Load more to pull in older entries.

Each entry shows the time it was dictated and a preview of the text. Click Copy to clipboard to put that text back on your clipboard without dictating it again. The button confirms with Copied, so you know it landed.

For a longer dictation, click Show full text to open it in its own Dictation view rather than reading it from the preview.

Until you've dictated anything, Home shows a No dictations yet empty state, telling you to hold your keyboard shortcut and speak.

🗑️ Deleting an Entry

Click Delete entry on anything you want removed, then confirm in the Delete this entry? dialog.

💡 Deleting an entry removes its text and its audio recording, but your stats, including your streak and total words, stay exactly as they were.

Once it's deleted, an entry can't be recovered, so double-check before confirming on anything you might want to copy later.

🧹 Clearing Everything at Once

To empty the whole list rather than picking entries off one at a time, go to Settings > Data & Privacy and click Clear next to Clear history. You'll be asked to confirm first.

This removes all of this account's dictations and audio recordings from this device. Your streak and stats are kept, exactly as with a single entry. On Windows you'll also find Delete all data, which resets your settings too, and Open data folder, which shows your history, audio, and logs in Explorer.

Keep in mind that your History lives on the device you dictated on, so clearing it on one computer leaves another computer's list untouched.
